My Ego is Rebelling

This book has been a difficult read for me because I identify so much with the philosophy but have a difficult time letting go of the ego. I appreciate that the author says at one point that you don't have to do anything just be aware of the ego and how it manipulates our actions. Everyone should read this book at some point in their life.

I purchased the book to see if what I had heard about it was true. The book teaches you that you can become your own god, and that you control your own destiny. This is false. You can not and never will be a god, or be able to control your eternity. This is a lie that most people have swollowed hook, line, and sinker. The Bible teaches that there is only One True God. God that made the world and all things there in. He sent His Son to die for us and pay the price for our sins. Except you repent and believe on the name of Jesus Christ with all your heart, you will surely spend your eternity in hellfire. That is TRUTH.

I purchased this book in a weaker moment and tried to read it thru...the more I read the more chocked up I became. It is now in my recycle trash. Just because Oprah praises a book does not make it a beneficial read. This book has a little truth mixed with a lot of babble.

I am very satisfied with the book and its contents, and intend to do a indepth study of the information it contains.
