| 2 out of 5 people found the following review helpful. I picked up this book not knowing it was preceeded by THE TALISMAN. You can read them in any order and the stories fit together like a glove. It is very hard to put this book down and you will find the story is spun like a spider's web. A true five star classic ! | |

I enjoy reading these authors when they combine their own talents together! Great book, I highly recommend this if you like these two writering forces coming to gether in one effort to supply us with a high quialty horror story! | |

Started slow but soon became an engrossing, not easy to put down story. I don't know how I missed it when it was first published. Thanks for the excellent book. | |

This book is an excellent read despite the slow start. If you have the Talisman read it again before you read this. The characters are well fleshed out and the story line moves well after the slow start. | |

You can read this one and get the point if you haven't read The Talisman, but why would you? You'd might as well slam them down back-to-back in a weekend, both books are that good. This is the darker and more mature of the two books, as one might expect since the main character is now an adult. Characters you'll love and love to hate abound here, you'll want to know what happens to them all. | |
