I bought the book because I am a huge John Grisham fan. I just started the book and really like. Of course I love football so it helps. The book is a quick read which always makes a book better.

I thought that Bleachers was a nice solid story about small town football and the linger effects on the former players, which becomes more prominent with the terminal illness of Coach Rake. I decided to buy it, because i`m a huge John Grisham fan and wanted to add it to my ever growing collection of his books.

I LOOKED AT THIS BOOK IN THE BOOK STORE, IT WAS LIKE $9.00, I BOUGHT THE SAME BOOK FROM THIS SELLER FOR .75C, THE BOOK WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN READ MORE THAN ONCE, I WILL ALWAYS BE BUYING MY BOOKS ON E-BAY OR HALF COM FROM NOW ON, THE DELIVERY WAS VERY PROMPT, MANY THANKS TO THE SELLER DONNA

I have read most of John Grisham's books, I wasn't very impressed with this book. I am not a big football fan and maybe that is the factor that made me not like the book so much. I throught this would have made a good short story not a whole book.

This book should be a must read for any teenage high school athelete. Some jocks get a rude surprise once they leave high school or college and have to deal with the real world. I loved this book!
