Not as good as the first ODD novel

BROTHER ODD is the third in a series of Dean Koontz novels featuring Odd Thomas, an interesting, witty, and likable character who happens to see ghosts. This third installment is better than the second book, FOREVER ODD, but neither of the sequels are as good as the first ODD THOMAS novel which I consider to one of Koontz's best books (I rate WATCHERS as his best). I recommend ODD THOMAS without reservation, but suggest that you save your money borrow a copy of FOREVER ODD and/or BROTHER ODD from your local library. I also recommend that you read ODD THOMAS prior to reading the other books. Each book stands alone, but reading the best book first will increase your enjoyment of the following two.

Very good series worth the read.Koontz best...the odd series can make you cry laugh.Not the usual reaction from his books.Intensity and velosity are great also. His writing just gets better and better.I cant wait for new books from this writer....

I thought the book was very well written. I couldnt put it down. I bought it because I had read the first two books annd they were excellent. I hope there is another one!

I love Dean Knootz books. They are always so interesting from the first page to the last. He is one of my favorite authors. There was nothing I didn't like about this book. You don't even need to read the first two (although I have) to understand what is going on in this book. Great writing all the way.

Not exactly what I expected. Pretty good. I thought Odd Thomas was his best in the series. Good for checking out at the library, I wouldn't recommend buying though. Save your money. Rent it.
