Wither you are a passenger in the back of a car, or if you are trying to escape from a sinking ship. This game brings real life physics into a video game. The graphics are amazing, the weapons are realistic, the Single player is outstanding, and the online play seems to be one of my favorites so far. The Storyline in this game is great. Multiplayer is the best online game I have EVER played. It has the rank system which could be a bad thing, since it keeps me playing and can become an addiction, but the maps are great, teams and weapons are great. You get many options when playing this game. The game has been out for a little more than 24 hours and there are already hundreds of servers to choose from. I love this game!!!! My favorite game out there. 10/10, 5 stars of 5 stars, 100% amazing!! A must buy game!! Unlike the other Call Of Duty Games, you are actually part of a squad, and you play together rather than having something go wrong during a mission, and you having to go solo to reach the objective. The game seems to be steady so far. I have not come across any glitches, and has yet to crash. I usually don't like buying games the day they come out, because I like to wait and see if they are truely worth the $49.99. In this case, I took a risk, but it turned out that this is the best game I own, and I own a lot of games. If you liked Rainbow Six Vegas, Modern Warfare is at least 20 times better in my opinion. Modernwarfare is not runs a lot smoother but the gameplay is better, the storyline is more realistic, the graphics are much better, and its the best Call Of Duty game yet! I would highly recommend this game! If you have any questions about this game that I did not mention here, please contact me, I would be more than happy to answer all of your questions about this game. If I did not mention a certain detail that you would like to know, just tell me and I will add it here.. Pros ; 1- You will never get bored b/c once you are done with the whole game there are other and harder challenges. 2- Play online 3- Best shooter engine ever. So realistic that you think somebody really shooting in the room !!! 3- Up to date equipment !!! people really want to see what is really available in life in the real army. Imaginary weapons in some games are OK but realistic weapons make more sense !!! 4- Learn some army language easily :) cons; one and only bad thing about this game is when you play this shooter game other shooter games suck right away :) now the bar has raised by this game and expectations from gamers are really high ! so a lot of games out there will disappoint the gamers who are already addicted to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare !!! One last thing as a suggestion ; Buy one on eBay ! do not spend all that full price at the store !!!

It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Each year the games get marginally better, but every once in a while a revolutionary game comes up that redefines the genre. BF1942/BF2 did that for the soldier+vehicle genre, and the Call of Duty series did it for the story telling FPS genre. I found COD3 to be a bit dull but COD4 is awesome. The single player story is the best I've played in years. The multiplayer is also very good (Although honestly I prefer BF2 + Project REality Mod for multiplayer). If you like modern combat and FPS's then you must give COD4 a try. Btw, the best map imho is the sniper map. That is one of the best maps I've ever played in ANY game.

| 1 out of 1 people found the following review helpful. I read the reviews elsewhere on this and I was not sure if I was going to get it. I think they were wrong. I own Call of Duty 3 for the XBox 360. Reviews said Call of Duty 4 was "More of the Same". I don't know if it is the PS3 or the Duty 4, but this game is alot better than Duty 3 on my 360. The Smoke effects are better. The Water is amazing... Damn shot again starring at the water... I noticed something in Resistance Fall of man that is also present in this game, Everything is alive. The Grass whisps in the wind, this makes the environment come alive. I think Resistance does the Ambiance better, but it is nicely done here too. Swinging the Sixaxis as if to do a Rifle Butt causes your on screen character to do a Rifle Butt... Cool... The Driving Sequences using the Sixaxis takes a little getting used to, however you can still drive via the Analog stick as well. Graphics are Very nice, I did not see the Frame Rate Problems spoke of by the Reviewer. The Sound is very good. I did not give the Sound a 10 though because after playing Resistance where there is more clips of audio from the AI characters, I found hearing the same thing over and over again to be very "Last Gen" of Course my "Next Gen" 360 has the same problem. I think it stems from people starting to use the Extra capacity available on the BluRay disc. Free Online Thanks to Sony. Goodbye XBox Live. Until Microsoft gives Live for Free, I will not renew. The Microsoft Fanboys keep trying to convince me that the Xbox Live is somehow better, well... after using them both I can not see the "greatness" that constitutes $50 a year. If you liked Call of Duty 3, You will love Call of Duty 4. Man I could sit here all day Whiping my Sixaxis all day. Rifle Butt. Rifle Butt. Yes. Yes. Yes. I hope they keep adding these little touches to the Future PS3 games. | |

Call of Duty 4 is a great first person shooter game. Probably the best of all time. I decided to buy the game because I previously purchased it for the PlayStation 3 game console and found that buying Call of Duty $ for my laptop would allow me to take the game anywhere I would like while on the go.

Over the years the Call of Duty franchise has proven itself the most venerable WWII shooter franchise out there. Consistently intense and immersive, each main installment in the series (with the exception of series misstep Call of Duty 3, whose development was outsourced to Treyarch) has improved upon its predecessor in every way possible. Yet the WWII arena is becoming unmistakably stale. There is nary a skirmish that could ever have conceivably happened that has been left unplayed by jaded WWII gamers. Thankfully developer Infinity Ward realized this and reinvented their franchise as a simulation of modern combat before it went the tired way of the Medal of Honor series. But do the new digs do the series justice? Gameplay-wise Call of Duty 4 is remarkably similar to its predecessors, and series veterans will feel right at home despite vast changes in weaponry and locales. This is a double-edged sword, however. You will find the same intensity, the same tight controls, and the same general level of polish that has made earlier Call of Duty games so great. But you will also notice the same faceless, endlessly spawning enemies that plagued earlier games. The sense of realism is somewhat compromised when it becomes clear that no matter how many quasi-terrorists you murder, they will continue to bum rush you until you manage to sprint to that next bombed out-house. Still, this is not a deal-breaker in what is overall a very satisfying single player experience. The music and sound effects are once again masterfully done, and the modern combat settings sport a graphical overhaul that leaves you feeling like you're really there. This game is truly beautiful. Where COD4 really shines, though, is in the multiplayer. The COD series has always offered a somewhat unique multiplayer experience, utilizing shifting spawn points to give a real sense of a dynamic battlefield that feels alive and changing as you play. This returns, even more finely tuned than before. But what makes multiplayer the real winner in this package is the addition of a full character progression system not unlike what is offered in Battlefield 2. Progressing through the 55 character ranks and trying to complete the myriad challenges can get extremely addicting and add significant replay value to the game. Realistically, the game is worth it for the multiplayer component alone. But the single-player game is worth a playthrough as well, which makes this a substantial package overall. I do have some minor complaints about the singleplayer game mechanics, but these are nothing compared with the things the game does right. They were not deal -breakers in the earlier games, and they are not deal-breakers now. Buy this game.
