It's amazing! This group has the uncanny ability to make time stop in its tracks! When you play track 1, you instantly feel like no time has past from their prior hits like Love Shack, Rock Lobster or Party Out of Bounds. They've lost none of their drive or energy! Highly Recommended! | |

Hold on to your wigs, the B-52's are back with a vengance! Their latest offering is FunPlex with the hit single of the same name! I bought this CD out of loyalty to the dear B-52's but guess what? I really like all of the 11 songs on the CD. Kate, Fred, Keith and Cindy don't disappoint on this wacky new offering! Not a dud in the bunch! But it ans find out how much this party bad had mis-matured in their 30 year career! Kate (red wig) is a 60 year old - hard to believe! With all the excitement and enthusiasm it's also hard to believe that they'll be collecting social security soon!!!!! So, but this CD!!!! | |

Having been a fan since the first album and knowing what the B's were all about..I think the B's have finally gotten old and are pushing dance beat to kids who only remember "Love Shack" from their infancy. TOO much emphasis on dancing and free sex..thats what KIDS now want to hear. Remember when we thought we were adults? Carefree and crazy were the early efforts of the B-52's. "Funplex" strikes me as a "thing we gotta do" project with little thought to keeping their original attitude intact. Now it looks like they are worried about a paycheck...hmmm.. Don't worry..Don't worry..NO DON'T!! Don't forget your raisin's, band! | |

I don't know what it is about that Atlanta Area but you got REM, Black Crows and the B 52's (to name but a few) just reinventing themselves over and over again much to the satisfaction of their listeners. This LP is almost perfect in every respect! Great Art,Songs, lyrics, mixing, song line-up. You don't believe e listen to it on the Headphones and it will bear me out. I love the blend of humor,Harmony, New wave rock, Retro look and rebel Yell that this group of Loonies put in the pot and cook up to a wonderful Southern Simmer! This is a long awaited release. Everything about this cd is very satisfying. I especially love "pump", "love in year 3000", and "dancing now". All of the rest are four stars! If you get a chance to see the B-52's on their summer tour, do so. They are great. | |

Being a big B's fan since I was in middle school when their first album came out, I was excited when I heard they had new stuff coming out. I like most of the songs on the CD , especially Pump, funplex, and keep this party goin. Its not as campy as their early stuff but thats to be expected. Any B's fan will love it and Im sure anyone that likes fun party music will love it. Kate and Cindy's vocals are just as soul touching as ever. Long live the B's!!! | |

Great stuff! Like their old sound but more bass covering the twangy guitar. Music covers their lyrics but its the same old Fred, Cindy ,and Kate singing with Keith on guitar. I would highly recommend to any old B-52s fan. It's the best music out in years! | |
