After just one listen of this collection, one really wonders how Gram Parsons could be so overlooked. Sure he has a large number of fans remaining from his original time period, but modern music fans seem to have sadly overlooked his material. They don't know what they are missing. Highly recommended listening for anyone interested in hearing the roots of modern "outlaw" country.

This was an older CD for an artist that died in the 70's. Was pleased to find it on EBay.+++++++++++++++++++

In a few short years he did more to change the path of rock history than many others remembered. This CD is pure and sweet. The sad part is, most people will listen to it and think, "Oh, that's just country." but that's to Gram's credit. Before him, that WASN'T country.

While Gram's best work was with the Flying Burrito Brothers, these solo album cuts also demonstrate his wonderful singing, great harmonies with EmmyLou Harris, several live cuts, and his putting the country into country-rock. You can't help but be singing along after a few listenings. It's great that we have these older titles available in digital format to hear them as they were recorded. This ones a keeper1
