Aerosmiths best album by far. Ranks up there with Led Zep II and IV. Pretty dirty subject matter though. Drugs and sex mostly. But honest and not to crass. | |

This is a classic Aerosmith CD from 1974. In all honesty, it has been a downhill slide for Aerosmith after the CD titled "ROCKS". Though public opinion would probably differ, this is Aerosmith in their heyday. The songs are strikingly original and well crafted. Aerosmith had a sound all their own through the first 4 CD's /Albums. The highlights on this are track 2. Lord of the Thighs, track 5 - S.O.S. and track 7. Seasons of Wither. Tyler's vocals are top notch and the band's songwriting is excellent. I cannot understand why they have lost their mojo since these early days. They had 2 great CD's after this one and it has been a wash after that. So, if you think you are an Aerosmith fan it better be because of the first effort, Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic and Rocks ! by, the Master Of All I Survey (thinng) | |
