The story was lackluster, predictable and frankly juvenile. It could have been a great read...if Ms. Seele had worked on it instead of just typing words. Such a waste of talent. Read her early works....they are compelling storytelling at its best (Crossings, Zoya...etc) Unfortunately, I can't recommend this book to anyone. | |

It's boring, stupid, and it took me forever to read (Why? because I forced myself to finish it, hoping it would get better -- it didn't, and the ending is stupid, too.) Most Steel books - I can't put down --this one I couldn't pick it up. It was a waste of time and money. Some of her latests books (for example Klone & I are just ridiculous). Danielle --go back to what you know!! Don't write books just for the sake of having something for sale on the book shelves!! I don't recommend this book. Pick something else~!! | |

It took off a bit slow but once I got into it I couldnt put it down. I do wonder if she will ever have an ending without a happily ever after though. The endings are getting too predictable. | |

She used the same lines and thoughts from other books and it took too long to get to the meat of the story. Seems as if she is getting tired of writing and she went to a Nora Roberts way of using big unknown words and less dialogue and more description of things around. Not one of her best. | |
