Very good read and hard to put down....I wanted to prep before the movie came out. I had not read the first 5 books however and had to go back and look up certain terms or people that I was unfamiliar with. If I had to do it again I would have started from book #1 | |

In the classic Rowling tradition. J.K. offers the next step in the story of the "Boy that Lived". In the story you dive deeper into the connection between Harry and the Dark Lord. Though out the book you can feel the connections growing deeper between characters as well as between you and the book. It is a book that is hard to put down as always :) | |

This book is amazing. J.K. Rowling is a wonderful writer and she really answers a lot of questions about Harry and Dumbledore in this book. Very descriptive and vivid. Would recomend anyone to read it. | |

J.K Rowling continues to cast a spell with her written words in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. As with all the Harry Potter books this one does not fail to keep the reader enthralled. Although this sixth book is more darker than the first five in the series and does include the death of a beloved character; it is written in a thoughtful, humorous and caring way. It is full of twists and turns that leaves the reader guessing and wanting more. I could hardly put it down and cannot wait to read the seventh and final book in the series. | |
