IF I DID IT, O. J. Simpson's supposedly hypothetical account of how he would have committed the double homicide he was acquitted of, is one of the most bizarre, outrageous, and divisive books of the 21st century, and is considered by many to be nothing less than a confession. Simpson describes exactly how he would have gone about murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman that fateful day in 1994, even down to the details of how he "thinks" the blood would have splattered. Absolutely blood money!

I don't care how you feel about OJ Simpson, but this is a must buy book. Even if you never read it, but I bet you will, you need to buy. The callus recollection of the events are just horrifying. The man is a murderer and should be treated as such. Read the book or not, buy it. The Goldman's deserve their day in court; this is a good way to get it.

OJ was a jealous vindictive person, probably still is. He shows an almost smug attitude in this book that makes me wonder if this was the first time. Not guilty, if you never get caught kind of attitude. God Bless the victims, God Bless their families.

I am glad I bought this book, simply because O.J. doesn't get any of the money. His gall is unbelievable, and I think everyone who is still on the fence about this yabo needs to read this book; his attitude shines through loud and clear. Would ANYONE out there hypothetically confess to a murder they had nothing to do with?! Didn't think so. I'm surprised he found the time to do this, seeing as how he's been busy looking for the real killers on every golf course in America.

Must Read

In typical narcissist fashion, OJ tells us here how he was always trying to do the right thing, but Nicole messed him up at every turn.
If for no other reason, this book should be read because 1 in 25 people are
sociopaths, and here one learns how these defective personalities use immense charm and manipulation to get away with...murder.
If you think the Goldmans are wrong in publishing this book, if you want to
call this 'blood money', then look at the crime scene photos.
Whatever justice they can get and however they get it, it is thier right.

.17 of Each Book Goes To The Goldman Family

The Goldman Family recently stated on Oprah that they are only getting .17 per book sale. I think this book deserves to be bought for the Goldman's sake. They deserve some form of justice and it is obvious from the small amount they are getting from the book, that money is not their motive for publishing this book. I hope everyone will buy it and help them get a little bit of justice.

The book was very interesting to read. O. J. definitely wants the reader to believe that it was Nicole's fault. He blames her for almost everything that went on in their marriage that wasn't good. The confession, in my opinion, is a actual confession. Also, after hearing the people speak about the book on several talk shows that O. J. wanted to use the book to confess to the murder and still call it hypothetical. After hearing the many people on talk shows, it is obvious that O. J. wishes he had never had anything to do with this book. He messed up big time by writing this book.

Any feelings one may have had for O.J. Simpson in the past & prior to reading this book may be drastically changed when finished with this incredulous work. Several issues stand out like beacons as brightly seen as a bad case of gout on a diabetics swollen ankle!
The most apparent is Simpsons inborn jealous rage & anger, barely kept in check by his noteriety & often overriden, not to mention all too often lacking common sense.
It does not take any imagination to read the inferences between the lines that Simpson all but flaunts the fact that he feels he has gotten away with the "alleged" murder (of which he was found not guilty); combined with his sheer contempt for all things Goldman (& Sachs).
Some will take exception to this, but read the book or not, it is only an OPINION! Simpson played his Fame & Race (especially) as did his legal team, to reduce the whole legal procedure to a racial issue & circumvent much of the legal proceedings. In short he used the race card to trump the legal card, and make a mockery of the legal system & he got off free, and his attitude about the entire ordeal comes through in the book.
Read the book. It is at least some legal & moral recourse for the Goldmans, and an eye-opener for many readers.....it will enlighten!
It is a shame that the Goldman Family is not making more money from the book, they truely deserve it. Simpsons true colors as a human being come out in this manuscript; and it makes you wonder very seriously.....was this the first time he has done this.......?

These are O.J.'s words. He thought it was his big moment in the sun: his time to shine over something that destroyed his children's lives, not to mention their friends, (and of course the Goldman family.) O.J. does not get the chance to cash in on this one, as he proved himself a real psycho when he orchestrated that break-in trying to get his property back. The Goldman's should get that too, and anything else he owns. Anyone that thinks this is "about race" is a fool, because he got away with the criminal portion of his trial. He DID lose his civil suit, and rightly so, because: HE DID IT! And he is bold enough to try to write a book about, and try to profit from it. Now he has hung himself on his own rope breaking into that hotel room to get "his stuff!" This just shows the gonads this guy has, and he had a chance to try to own up to what he did, and he just got bolder. This just proves it, by writing this book. So buy it, and see how an "innocent person" would act. So there it is. I am an author on Black history, and this is not the kind of history that needs to be repeated. Pick and choose your heroes carefully, as they may be monsters in disguise!

He DID it... without remorse

I bought this book because I wanted the Goldman's to get something that OJ thought would be his. This book really is a chilling look into the mind of a sociopathic and abusive control freak that thinks the world revolves around him. He callously recounts the night he killed 2 innocent people as if he still gets a thrill from the moment. I wanted to vomit while reading it. He never takes responsibility for anything. Everything was Nicole's fault. How dare she leave him and make a separate life for herself- free from his controlling grip? For anyone who was naive enough to think he might be innocent... This book is his undeniable confession. Maybe when he dies, they'll bury him underneath the lucky #7th green at his local golf course, where he has spent all those countless hours looking for "THE REAL KILLERS" HA!

Didn't read anything new until the part where Simpson went to Nicole's condo on the night he murdered them. I expected alot more detail about the murders (from all the hype it's gotten), Simpson doesn't recall the actual stabbings....book was a scam for him to make money. Glad the Goldman's are making the money instead. Not worth the money except if you want to help the Goldman's.

We Always Knew He Was Guilty

My daughter and I read this book cover to cover in one day. Its good. We always believed the coward did it. This story is what is wrong with some celebrities - it goes to their head and they think they are God. This man had a life handed to him simply because he could run with a football but his ego took all this attention to heart. We watched this idiot run from the law, we watched this idiot get exonerated by a hapless jury and now we see him glory in the details of slitting his ex-wife's throat because she came to the door with a knife. What was that Judge thinking. You really need to read this book and see how systematic he was about killing Nicole, the woman he proclaimed to always love. I hope he definitely gets convicted in this new trial because he deserves to rot in Jail in a 2 by 4 cell. My heart goes out to his children.

IF I Did It - OJ Confesses (sort of)

It really does not matter how you feel about OJ Simpson or his guilt/innocence -- this is a book that needs to be read! These murders, the media coverage, & OJ are burned into our culture and this book from beginning to end gives an eye-opening look into how OJ really thinks.

With the letter from the Goldmans, from the "ghost writer", & Domminck Dunne included in this book; we get a glimpse into how the Goldman's are dealing with loss of Ron.

BUY the book!!!!
