She writes like she is having an intimate conversation with you. The book flows so smoothly. I was hooked right away. I had a hard time putting the book down. I finished it in one day. I never get a chance to do that anymore, due to having a 5 year old and a 3 year old!!! A must read!! | |

She writes a very honest book about her young actress years acting on one day at a time and rock n roll wife years with van halen, and She shows she's human like the rest of us and she's very easy to relate to. I couldnt put this book down and read it in one night. If your a fan of Eddie's or Val's..get the book (though you may not be such an Eddie fan after reading. The man has issues!!) Great book anyway! | |

I love the easy read of Valerie's book and like so many others find her likable, normal and fun. Her book is an easy read and hits home in so many ways. THe book was so good, kept your interest ,you didn't want to put it down,, There is nothing I disliked about the book,, I just hope she writes another book soon,,, It was a book that I could relate to with my weight situations and how she delt with stress was so much like me, and she inspired me to deal with my stress by finding another outlet besides eating and has helped me lose weight since reading her book lost 30 pounds..... and still going strong.so all I can say is Thank You, Valerie Bertinelli.......... | |

This is a really good book. It surprised me because I don't read a lot of autobiographies - I usually think they are boring. Don't be put off by the "Losing It" and think that it is just a weight loss book. It isn't. It is a great story of Valerie's life (lots of insite on Ed Van Halen) and just the ups and downs of life. Very good. | |
