I bought this book because I am a Mary Higgins Clark fan and have read all of her books except two. She lives up to her reputation with being the Queen of Suspense with this book. It grabs you in the beginning and you can't put it down. It is genuinely scary. There is something special about Clark's thrillers. Nighttime Is My Time is a story of suspense & revenge It is a story about a 20th high school reunion. Five women who were friends all met a sudden, mysterious death. The remaining two arrive in Cornwell-on-the Hudson, New York for this reunion. Jean shortly receives a taunting fax about a child she gave up for adoption. She has kept this secret from everyone including her parents. The fax worries her that not only her life, but also the life of her daughter may be in danger. She is correct to think this because Jean is the final target of a ruthless murderer. Among the attendees is "The Owl", a murderer on a mission of vengeance against women who once humiliated him. | |

This book is an excellent read. Once you start it, you won't be able to put it down. I love to read, but don't always find the time, but this was a very enjoyable 4 to 6 hours. Had to finish it before I could go to bed, it was so engrossing. Clark keeps you guessing right up until the last few pages, so please don't read them first! Book was in excellent condition, looked like it had been read only once or twice. This author writes books with many twists and turns. If you like mysteries you can't go wrong with Mary Higgins Clark. | |

What I loved about this book is what I love about all of Mary Higgins Clark's books, namely that they keep you guessing as to who did what to whom. This book is about a class re-union to honor some of the very special achievements of a few of the class members. I won't tell you much about it, as it would take too long and would ruin it for anyone who has not read the book. Suffice it to say, you will not be disappointed, and you, most likely, will not guess who the perpetrator is until near the end as I did. There are many likely subjects, and the one I settled on was NOT it!!! The book is a scary read and is an eye opener as to how our younger lives can effect our now lives. One you must not miss if you have not already read it, and I'll be reselling it out here very soon. It is another one of Mary Higgins Clark's blockbusters. There was nothing I disliked about it--wonderful read all snug in bed with the blankets pulled up close and warm. Highly recommended! lukas4me | |

Mary Higgins Clark is the "Queen of Suspense", and all her novels are wonderful! I loved all the previous ones I've read, and this one was no different! This novel is very suspenseful and will have you staying up all night just to finish one more chapter. I highly recommend this book as well as all her other novels. | |

I have read all of Mary Higgins clark's books and i have never been disappointed she always has a new surprise for you!!!! i recommend all her books !!!!!!!! She shows her way of being able to hide the killer to the end in this one !!!! Wonderful wonderful read! | |
