As usual Koontz weaves an interesting story, problem is there are three interconnecting stories in this book and only two of them are remotely interesting. And sometimes old Dean gets sidetracked in his narrative and tends to go overboard in discription. Still not a bad book compared to some of the others he's been releasing. | |

One of Koontz's longer tomes of late, One Door Away from Heaven is a good thriller tale. Our heroine is a young girl who is wise beyond her years as well as a bit jaded. She is growing up in horribly awful conditions with a drug-tripping mother and homicidal step-father, who quietly disposed of her brother while telling her mother that the aliens had taken him. Sometimes a bit more shallow than Koontz is known for, yet consistently riveting, One Door Away from Heaven will satisfy readers new to Koontz as well as long time fans. | |

Without doubt Dean is my No 1 choice when looking for books, I just wish he could write a book a week, Then I wouldnt have to keep waiting for the next one to come out. Im not going to go into details about the book as if you are like me, I prefer to not know anything untill I start reading about it in the book, I have read every one of his books so far and I love them all. So as you can probably guess from what I wrote above, I highly Recomend this book. | |

In this book, as in the other two I've read by Dean Koontz, the characters are interesting, and their relationships interwoven into an edge-of-your-seat plot. When I pick up the book, I find it hard to put down. Makes me look forward to my next Dean Koontz book. | |

A page turner from beginning to end... although I really think that "Sole Survivor" and "False Memory" were his best books, and "Intensity" was by far the best movie adaptation from one of his books, this one also rates high up on my list.
