Synopsis
Washington, D.C. psychologist/homicide detective Alex Cross faces yet another psychopathic killer in POP GOES THE WEASEL. This time, Alex, who has plenty on his plate between caring for his two children, working in a soup kitchen, and igniting a romance with a new lady love, is determined to track down a serial killer whose trail of blood extends throughout the Southeast quadrant of the capital. Despite lack of support from his boss and most of the police force, the honorable hero nevertheless nabs the killer, British diplomat Geoffrey Shafer, a madman and drug addict obsessed with the computer game the Four Horseman. A suspenseful courtroom drama follows.
