It was a book about the dynamics of sisterly relationships. This book was a great summer read about a bunch of sisters trying to find their own ways in life while being there for their family. It's about 4 sisters who come togather at least 3 times year. And something happens that they end up togather for a time. And for good reason. ( I just won't say why. It will spoil the story for you. ) When I sat down a few days ago to start reading this, I had a box of Puffs Plus kleenex's on the table next to my chair and used about 1/4 of the box while reading this book. The book will take you Paris, London, Florence,Italy, Conneticut, New York, & L.A.... You'll see boyfriends, Bosses & Friends. And FAMILY is BIG word in this book. Family & Love. I had not read any of Danielle Steele's books since high school. I really enjoyed her then; now, I still like her style, but it is of course, very predictable. Overall though, the book was happy, fun, and a perfect summer read. | |

This was another excellent one but I was not quite happy with the ending - unless Miss Steele is planning to write a sequel to this novel. The story was about 3 sisters and at the end, I felt that I wanted to know more about what was happening in their lives. | |

Is was such a touching book just to know that in this fictional book the sacrifices "sisters" can and will do for each other. I know I have only one sister and she has in her lifetime gave me that same sacrificial help and love. Such a good book. You won't regret buying and reading it. | |

I wanted to read Sister when it came out, but i hate the price of new books especially hardcovers. I got a great deal on ebay. The seller was great to work with and got it out to me quickly and i got it for so little. The book is great. Deals with the relationship of 4 sisters. How different they all are, and yet they are there for each other when tragedy strikes. Another great story from a great author. | |
