Was really looking forward to another Grisham novel and was sorely disappointed. It was boring and the ending left you depressed and saddened. I did not enjoy it at all. | |

I decided to purchase this book because I am a huge John Grisham fan and have read pretty much every thing he has written. I was very pleased with this new book. Although I would not want to spoil it for anyone else, I would say it was un-nerving to think that something like this could actually happen (and most fiction is written based on an experience a person has had even if exaggerated or changed so who knows). Highly recommended in audio (or hard cover). Great story line. | |

The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I truely didn't know which way the book would end, until the very last CD, very last track. | |

The story was well developed, and held my interest all the way through. I was hoping for a better resolution at the end, but I suppose the ending was more true to life than a better resolution might have been. I enjoyed the characters. | |

I decided to buy this audio book because I love John Grisham. While I don't think this is as good as many of his books I have read, it did make me wonder if we common folk are used as pawns as much as this book suggested that we are. It was an enlightening, kind of sad commentary on our judicial system/political system. | |
