OMG! THIS BOOK IS OF AMAZING LITERATURE IN MY OPINION. THIS IS THE BEST SERIES SINCE HARRY POTTER. iT IS SO WELL WRITTEN I JUST COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. Was awesome bookm my son stated . He has read all the other books in the series. He said this one did not have qupte as much excitement as the others. Even still, if you were into the series, you must read it. | |

I LOVED all of previous Percy Jackson books. However, I felt something was missing from this one. Don't get me wrong, my son and I still had to read it as quickly as possible, but as a previous reviewer noted, it was just missing the little extra "magic" that the previous books had. It had a little less humor, and basically running around in the labrynth got a little old after several chapters. I felt like the great story was here, maybe the author was just a little rushed to make a deadline and didnt get to "spit and polish" all the wonderful little details that made the other books so much fun. That being said, the last chapter of the book is fantastic, and opens the door for a very interesting team up for Percy in the next book. We can't wait for the rest of this series. | |
