Frankly my TITLE said it all. If you are a fan of the metaphysical, the ideas of this book are intriguing. However, the author should have hired a ghost writer. The book was intended to be a suspense novel, but his writing was talented high school junior, at best. The author was more interested in imparting his topical view, than mixing up how the plot would unfold. If I wasn't so interested in finding out what his next insight was, I wouldn't have finished the book. | |

This book has transformed my thinking and different facets of my life each time I read it. I purchased this one for a friend because I cannot give up my copy, which I borrowed from a very wise friend 7 years ago. Enjoy the adventure! | |

I read the book in 1994 shortly after it came out while living in Lima, Peru. As a product of this brainwashed society, I had forgotten how simple life was growing up in a Native American community. The book had a tremendous impact, even though Redfield paints a rather unlikely picture of traveling through the jungle and finding individuals speaking English. You're lucky to find someone who speaks Spanish, let alone English! It was entertaining and enlightening, so I purchased it for a Spanish professor who lived and studied in Peru and had never heard of the novel. As a struggling student, the price was appealing as well. | |

My students wanted to study James Redfield so I used Half.com to order a used book. The book was a bargain price and in perfect shape. I was amazed how quickly it arrived. This book and it s guide have answered the question "why" i have been asking all of my life. I now have the answer. I have looked everwhere and done much research and for the first time i have an answer. Enjoy it for your self i would recommend these books highly. | |

As you read it take note of each prophecy and its meaning for guiding your life.I have given this to many people as food for thought. | |
