I bought the Dangerous Days of Daniel X. I work at a book store and can get employee discounts on books, but still, with the right ebay seller prices can be even more cheaper than my discount gives me. I got a cheap price on a brand new best seller book and got it to my house in quick timing. I would definitely buy from this seller again if the price is right. | |

I bought it because I LOVE all James Patterson's books, but I was not terribly impressed. I know sci fi is far-fetched but come on, this was way out there, and at first I thought that Patterson could pull it off, like with the bird kids' series but the book just never gripped me and made me beg to finish it. I highly recommend other Patterson books, like Honeymoon, BeachHouse, or Beach Road, or Alex Cross series. | |

I couldn't believe this was James Patterson. The book was so awful, I didn't even finish it. Patterson should stick to the "Women's Murder Club" and Alex Cross!!!!!!! | |

MEN IN BLACK MEETS PATTERSON. IT WAS A SLOW START TO A QUICK FINISH. I WASN'T GOING TO READ IT AFTER I GOT STARTED. I WENT ON AMAZON AND READ SOME REVIEWS. BAD CHOICE. I SHOULDN'T HAVE READ THE NEGATIVE ONES. I KNOW BETTER THAN THAT. I WAS GOING TO QUIT READING THE BOOK. ALL TO JUST READ IT ANOTHER TIME. I COULDN'T JUST QUIT LIKE THAT SO I PICKED THE BOOK UP TWO DAYS LATER AND FINISHED IT. I ENJOYED THE BOOK. IT WAS FUNNY IN PARTS AND INTERESTING IN OTHERS. I LIKED THE VISUALS AND THAT IT WAS AIMED AT YOUNG ADULTS. I DIDN'T READ THE STARTS OF THE NEXT STORIES THAT ARE COMING. I RATHER BE SURPRISED. This is NOT your typical Patterson Mystery. The Plot is basically revenge~ with some very intersting and entertaining twists along the way~ Daniel X has many special "gifts" including the power of mind control, and the ability to change reality~ using his skills and intellingence he seeks to using them to help destroy the ONES who KILLED his parents~ who were alien hunters. Sci Fi is not for everyone but Pattrson makes this seem real~ the careful explaining the basically "want to get even" motive and the erie and wonderful "gifts" Daniel X have makes it entertaining and typical Patterson he adds some very fun twists that keep us moving reading along~ and very entertained~ one of the better Sci Fi books around~ I GIVE IT A SOLID 9 OUT OF 10. Wow, this book is a fast read, I could hardly put it down. Sci-Fi action packed! Good book for young adults. Daniel has many superpowers some you don't expect. He was listening to some music by Remi, I checked it out and sure enough I found it, I ended up buying the music. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next book to further Daniel X 's adventures in saving our world. | |

i must admit this book is full of ideas any normal man would have never even dreamed of. Patterson's imagination is well written through the pages of Daniel X. i admit this is my first book with James Patterson that I actually liked. Although his Cross Series did a pretty good job, Daniel X is a whole new level when it came to me. Read it, and who knows, you might be another me. | |
