I love the way this game focuses on balance and posture, not just exercising; although the exercises, aerobics, and yoga are great too. Wii Fit is easy to set up and easy to use. I think this will finally be the solution to that "I don't want to exercise" feeling.

Not for everyone

If they are overweight, it will make their icons fat or skinny etc. It made a lot of my friends angry. Then the weight scale will tell them if they are fat or not. Kinda hurts your feelings if you are above or below average in any physical category.

Although there is some major hype involving the Wii Fit and it is a pretty decent "game" for $90+tax, I wouldn't call it revolutionary or extraordinary. I bought mine about two weeks ago and I have enjoyed it. I especially like how it weighs me and logs it on a nice chart along with my BMI and Center of Balance (COB). I could care less about the BMI because we all know it's in itself is a pretty poor assessment for one's body. I have to be honest though, I have been getting a little bored with the Wii Fit games. For the first week they were VERY fun, however, after a while it gets a little stale. Maybe because I already run/bike/lift on my own and it doesn't really offer me the challenge I was looking for. However, yoga and balance games are still fun. All in all, it's a good start in fitness games and Nintendo has done a great job with it. I have been getting a little more flexible thanks to yoga and I am more aware of my balance. Whether you lose/gain weight on it is up to you, how much you exercise, how you eat, how hard you try. I hope this helps.

As much as I hate to sweat I'm having to much fun to care, my family and friends have competitions going on to see who can score the highest in every event so it helps us all to push ourselves a little harder.

Its incredable how much information they get out of the balance board, things you would find hard to believe. the programs cause a calory burn of of only slightly less than joging acording to the news today. To bad the Wii Fit is so hard to find especaly for the sugested retail price.

4 out of 4 people found the following review helpful. i love this game. my whole family uses it, but...is it worth more than 89.00+tax? that's a tough one. i think those folks who paid all that extra to get it fast got took faster. the reason i bought was because i figure the sales tax for my area, added it to the 89.00 price, and only bid the total. it took a while, but one slipped through, and i got mine. i wasn't willing to pay 150.00+ for something worth about 99.00. so i guess what i'm saying is yeah, it's great, and it help to keep us healthier, and brings my family together. the boards are fun, and well thought out. personally, i like the balance games and yoga the best. But keep you head--refuse to be a desperate-to-own-one bidder. make it less profitable for ebay scalpers and you'll find more of them on the shelves of your local whatever-mart store, unless you have more dollars than sense.

Wii Great Game for the whole family

I decided to buy this game to help my 84 year old mother to enjoy bowling again, since she can no longer lift a heavy ball, but enjoys the game so much. She loves it, keeping her young and able to enjoy something she loves in her later years. It also brings and allows the whole family together to play the many games available with her!
